Terms of service

Last updated 19 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Kerix. By creating an account or running a trial, you agree to them on behalf of the business you represent.

What Kerix does

Kerix connects to messaging channels you already control, answers your customers there according to rules you configure, and hands conversations to your team when your rules say it should. We provide the service; you provide the channel, the rules and the data it answers from.

Your account

  • You are responsible for what your team does with the account, and for keeping sign-in credentials to yourselves.
  • You confirm you are entitled to connect the channels and the order data you connect, and to have us process the messages that arrive on them.
  • You are responsible for the rules you write and for the messages sent under them. Kerix executes your configuration; it does not vet it.

Your customers' messages

You remain the controller of your customers' data. We process it to run the service, as described in the privacy notice, and on your instructions. You are responsible for telling your customers that an assistant may answer them, where the law where you operate requires it.

Platform rules and messaging charges

  • Using WhatsApp through Kerix also means agreeing to Meta's own terms and messaging policies. A breach of those can get a number restricted by Meta, which is outside our control.
  • Meta bills you directly for WhatsApp messaging, on your own account. Those charges are separate from what you pay us, and we do not resell or mark them up.
  • Kerix does not send paid message templates on its own initiative. You are told when an action would incur a charge.

Trials

A trial runs for the period we agree, on your own number, with no card required. At the end it simply stops. We may end a trial early if it is being used to send bulk unsolicited messages, or in a way that would put a platform account at risk.

Fees

Subscription fees are those quoted to you in writing before you subscribe. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect for you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kerix to:

  • send unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people who have not opted in;
  • impersonate another business or person;
  • handle data you have no right to process;
  • attempt to reach another customer's data, or to disrupt the service.

Availability

We work to keep Kerix running, but it depends on platforms we do not operate — the messaging provider, your order system, the model provider. Except where we have agreed a specific service level with you in writing, the service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Stopping

You can close your account at any time. We can end an account for a material breach of these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. On closure you can export your configuration and history, and we delete your data on the schedule in the privacy notice.
