Privacy notice
Last updated 19 September 2026
This notice explains what Kerix collects, why, and who else sees it. It covers two different groups of people: the businesses that use Kerix, and their customers, whose messages pass through it.
Who we are
Kerix is operated by [legal entity name], [registered address]. For any question about this notice, or to exercise a right described below, write to [contact mailbox].
If you are a business using Kerix
We collect what is needed to give you an account and a service:
- Account details — your name, work email and company name. Your password is stored only as a scrypt hash; we never hold it in a readable form.
- What you configure — the rules, policy text and connector settings you write, plus the version history and audit log of who changed what.
- Credentials you connect — access tokens for WhatsApp, Slack or your order system. These are encrypted before they are stored, and are never shown back to you in full.
- Demo requests — if you fill in the form on this site, what you typed into it. We use it to reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list and is not sold or shared.
If you are a customer of a business using Kerix
When you message a business on a channel it has connected to Kerix, your message passes through our systems so the assistant can answer it. In that relationship the business decides what happens to your data and we act on its instructions — so a request to see or delete your data should go to the business you were writing to, and we will help them action it.
- Message content and your channel identifier (such as your WhatsApp phone number), so the conversation can be answered and continued.
- Order data looked up on your behalf, when you ask a question that needs it. It is read to answer you; we do not build a separate profile from it.
We do not use the content of these conversations to train any model of our own.
Who else processes it
Kerix is built on a small number of providers, each handling a defined part:
- Meta Platforms — delivers WhatsApp messages to and from your customers, and bills the business directly for them.
- Vercel — runs the application and serves this site.
- Neon — hosts the database where the above is stored.
- The model provider that generates replies, which receives the conversation text needed to answer and does not retain it for training.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long it is kept
Conversations and audit records are kept while the business's account is active, so its team can see its own history. When an account is closed, its data is deleted within 90 days, except where we must keep something longer to meet a legal obligation. A business can ask us to delete a specific conversation sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Write to the address above and we will answer within one month. If you are a customer of a business using Kerix, ask that business first — they control the data, and we will support the request.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you materially, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect, rather than only changing the date at the top.
